1.Open the configuration menu of your Drupal.

2. Now find ckeditor setting and click on that.

3. you will find "full" (Full HTML) profile under the profile section edit this.

4. Now at the bottom of you will find "Advanced option".

5. click on the advance option and search "Custom JavaScript configuration"

6. config.allowedContent = true; paste this line under "Custom javascript configuration" as shown in the screenshot.



7. save and check you will be able to add span tag in ckeditor.
